SOFC Ministries, Incorporated has been in operation
since, November of 2000 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) Faith Based
organization and as such accepts donations of resalable merchandise and
welcomes both material and cash donations. The generosity shown
over the past several years has sustained SOFC's community service
programs and overall initiatives.
We appreciate our donors outpouring over the years and
donations of furniture, bedding, household furnishings, appliances,
electronic items, books and so on dropped off and picked up. You
will find at the Thrift Store and Boutique a wide range of wearing
apparel to satisfy your customers every need. For those with
discriminating taste looking for something special you must visit
Sheila's Boutique and Joe's Men's Corner.
The generosity and outpouring of donations over the
years have made it possible for SOFC to finance the Retails Store's
operation and made it possible for SOFC to sustain a viable partnership
with the Dekalb County Justice System. The Dekalb County Justice
System refers to SOFC adult and juvenile offenders required to complete
the community service hours; hours they are required to complete by
Court decree. To date more than three thousand (3000) have
completed their community service hours under SOFC's supervision.
SOFC services transcend giving the program participants busy work.
SOFC strives to transform those referred by instilling values designed
to build character and develop a positive work ethic. In this
regard SOFC provides Retail Store Manager, Assistant Manager and
Material handling training. The latter focuses on skill training in
such areas as material handling, warehousing, merchandise refurbishing
and so on. Whatever success has been achieved reflects on the
community support received over the years and we welcome your continued
support. |
