SOFC's
is presided over by Pastor Sheila Smith and Joe Louis. Sheila is
affectionately referred to as Pastor Sheila and Joe relocated from
Carrollton, Georgia to Decatur in November of 2002 to launch SOFC's Thrift Store
and Boutique
to promote its pre vocational and life skill training certified by the
United States Department of Labor.
Pastor Sheila
completed two years of theological studies and course work as a student
of Kenneth Hagan's Bible College in Oklahoma. Pastor Sheila is the
co-founder a Ministry in Carrollton, Ga. where her tenure as a
minister has spanned more than twenty six (26) years. In
Carrollton, she focused on Evangelism providing community outreach
services, holding Crusades and building a nursing home ministry.
Pastor Sheila continues to minister in the aforementioned area as SOFC
spiritual leader serving the Metro-Atlanta community.
Together Pastor Sheila and Joe Louis
co-manage SOFC's Thrift Store and Boutique. Sheila's husband Joe
Louis was a professional boxer in Chicago. Named after of the world famed heavy weight champion of
the world, Joe Louis. SOFC's Joe Louis fought in the light welterweight
division while in Chicago and in June of 1992 Joe relocated from Chicago
to Atlanta at the invitation of the renowned boxing champion Evander
Hollyfield's. Joe came to Atlanta because of his desire to work
with Evander Hollyfield's Youth program. Joe's relocation to
Atlanta resulted in Joe being united with Pastor Sheila in marriage and
they currently reside in the Stone Mountain area.
SOFC's Registered Apprenticeship
Program is certified by the United States Department of Labor,
Employment and Training Administration, Apprenticeship Training,
Employers Services, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
